A bird's-eye view of the Apple Bash in SF
Right now I can hear the band (I'm musically ignorant, so if you know who these kids are, leave it in the comments) playing, so thought I'd share what I can see from the hotel room. Just a taste of what the real attendees are enjoying at 8pm PST...
(sorry about the angles, lighting, sound, production values, set decoration and editing-- this is just for fun!)

Geeze - I know you apologized, but really - could you shake the camera any more? What'd you shoot that with - your iPhone? ;)

Euh, no it isn't, the song that's playing in the background is Think I'm In Love by Beck.

Also a bit of deinterlacing wouldn't have hurt too :)

Not sure who the first band is, but the second band is Ozomatli. Ironic that I was listening to them on iTunes when I saw this article.

#5, that isn't irony, it's a coincidence. And nobody cares that you have awful taste in music.

okay so it is a coincidence....
but who's to say what music is good and what isn't? if one person likes it, then it's good taste to them. why should it matter if anybody else likes it?

OK wtf is this?
I thought TUAW had people at WWDC, why are you showing some dodgy hotel video, why not go to the actual Bash? Seriously if you think people are interested in seeing you spying from above you have a fucked up view of your readers.
Remove this post, as it is a real low point for this site.

The only band that was there was Ozomatli. Beck was just playing over the PA. Awful! I left a minute into the non-English second song.

Poor Cabbage. Sorry it wasn't up to your standards. We had fun without you anyway, "Big Daddy."

This is worrying - you're SPYING in people now, and why? Because they're at an Apple party? Get a grip - this isn't news, it's not interesting, and the fact you're huddled in a hotel room leering at people and videoing them out of the window is, frankly, a little creepy.

That's Yerba Buena Plaza, atop Moscone Center. Open to the public, no? Why not hop in the elevator and.. ?

All this negativism about a band is hilarious. I couldn't resist getting involved in this discussion simply bc the whole argument is ludicrous. Regardless of whether or not this article is news worthy or blatant voyeurism, you guys need to lighten up and go back to your Justin Timberlake and masturbate to images of the iphone. Lighten up for F's sake.
