Line Report: Broomfield, CO Flatiron Crossing

It doesn't look too crowded-- people are stretched out on the floor right now. But it is interesting that they've got the barrier headed all the way out of the mall. Jobs said they were opening the doors at 6 to let people from work have a chance to get there, and my guess is that as work lets out on this Friday afternoon, the lines will fill more and more.

Of the three Dallas-Fort Worth metro locations, I've been to two now. The first, Willow Bend, had about 50 people in line as of noon. The second (and newest) Apple Store, Northpark Mall, had by my estimate 200 people in lline by 2:30. Madness. I really didn't think they'd get that long.
I won't even bother with the Knox-Henderson Apple Store - it's the oldest DFW location, and always seems to be crowded.
Isn't Dave Chartier there?

June 29 2007 at 3:54 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI was so excited about the iphone. Then the announcement that it was only for ATT. After thinking about it, Ilve decided NOT to change carriers just because Apple thinks it can dictate how we spend our money beyond the price of the phone. How dare them! It should be open to any carrier. If they want to limit their sales, I'll help them & keep my money!
