Mac OS X 10.4.10 Update v1.1 available

Apple has released Mac OS X 10.4.10 Update v1.1 which, according to Apple:
  • RAW camera support
  • Mounting and unmounting external USB devices
  • Support for 3rd party software applications
  • Security updates
Also note that Audio Update 2007-001 fixes the audio "popping" issue that's been occurring for people that already applied 10.4.10 to their Intel Macs.
Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

Is it just me? I still get the audio popping sound after the update, just not nearly as frequently. I'm using a Mac Pro Quad. Anyone else still hearing the noise post update?

OS X 10.4.10 Superdrive can't be found after auto updater run...
OK SPOKE TO APPLE AND IF YOUR SUPERDRIVE DISAPPEARED AND YOU KEEP GETTING "No Device to UPDATE, Firmware" EVERYTIME YOU RESTART YOUR MACBOOK, MACPRO etc...HEREs's THE FIX:
OPEN: System Preferences
GO TO ACCOUNTS, select your account
GO TO Login Items
SELECT where it say 2.1 firmware updater
REMOVE by selecting - box
RESTART and your SUPERDRIVE should be back online

APPLE SAID THEY WILL BE POSTING A FIX RATHER THAN THIS STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE

DO NOT USE SOFTWARE UPDATER TO INSTALL OS X 10.4.10 ON YOUR MACBOOK INTEL MACHINE, IT WILL DESTROY YOUR SUPERDRIVE DUE TO A REBOOT CONFLICT WITH THE AUDIO UPDATER. THE FIRMWARE FOR THE DRIVE EITHER GETS CORRUPTED OR INTERRUPTED ON REBOOT AND WIPES OUT THE SUPERDRIVE FIRMWARE. OK APPLE HOW ABOUT A FIX ALREADY!

I thought it worth noting that I just updated with 10.4.10 v1.1 on an Intel MacBook, and the update did not break UNO. (I was prepared though to go with the workaround described on UNO's website.)

I'm in the same situation as timonsteri - does anyone know if these updates failed to appear because they're not needed, or if it's an error ad I should go ahead and update manually?

Also, just to add: I've only heard of Intel machines having this issue (the PPC poster above was very surprising to me) so don't expect a PPC patch.

To clear up any confusion, this only fixes the audio issue so if you have 10.4.10 you will only get the audio patch listed in Software Update, whereas if you haven't updated yet, you'll see 10.4.10 v1.1 in the list.

Update 1.1 appears to only be available for Intel Macs. I did a search of the Apple Support section for '10.4.10 1.1' and among all the results only got a Delta update and Combo update for Intel, no PPC version or Universal version - both those (the latter rather stupidly IMHO) are still at 10.4.10 issued June 20th.
