Apple unleashed a slew of new things today, and one of the most important things (to me) is the new interface for the iTunes Store, the iTunes WiFi Store. As you might expect, the iTunes WiFi Store lets you browse and purchase music directly from your iPod Touch or iPhone (over WiFi). All music purchased from the iTunes WiFi Store will sync back to your iTunes library (sweet!).
Sadly, it seems this is limited to audio only, no video. Oh, and no word on if you can subscribe to podcasts via this interface (that would be insanely cool).

it doesn't look like they're touting airtunes support either.
It seems to me they stuck in the wifi to have everyone use it to buy more but they didn't even think of...maybe allowing us to do more with it like e-mail airtunes or podcasting (ie: the user as a user and not as a consumer)

Yes, use the wifi for airtunes and appleTV!
There's a pic of the iPhone, does that mean that iTunes WiFi gets installed onto the iPhone too?

You mean like I do now with my PSP via WiFi; video and audio podcasts? I love NPR (I love lamp).

i wonder how long it will take people to realize that with Bonjour, Apple Touch can actually network together on the same network and share Playlist?

so, i was watching the keynote of the intro and after he announced the "wifi store" on the iPhone, i noticed something about the home screen for the ipHone. the purple icon was put in the lower right hand location. could this be mistake, ugly purpose, or does it mean there will be three (hidden) new apps for the ipHone with this new software update? hmm

Forget the price cut handwringing. If Apple doesn't support WiFi podcasts, I'm marching on Cupertino with a tank!
