Uh, correct me if I'm wrong, but when was Leopard ever released on a MacBook Pro model?

Another question, Chris, is when was Leopard even released for any computer, other than for developers. Adi, are you a developer?

Obviously Adisor19 has a developer's version of Leopard or a copied version of it. Leopard beta versions have been on the internet since the beginning of the its making.

mine went from 30% to 70%. My battery was pretty bad, it would lose power in as little as 20 minutes. Someone told me that I would have to recalibrate, but i found this first, so I don't know if calibration is any better than this. guess i"ll find out tomorrow at my first meeting."
Any chance you could try this? http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.4/en/mh2339.html Basically its get the machine fully charged for at least 2 hours, disconnect power and run it until it goes to sleep, let it sleep for 5 hours, then reconnect and let it fully charge."

@adi: Copy the BatteryUpdate1.3.pkg to your desktop, show package contents, go inside Contents, and edit BatteryUpdate1.3.dist in your favorite editor. Search for 10.4.10 and replace with 10.5.0. Install the package from your desktop.
My battery went from 44% to 100%, so like others have said before, something smells fishy here.

wow, my battery is suddenly a zillion times better, too: i've noticed in recent weeks that it was only holding a charge for *maybe* 20 minutes. now, it seems to be at around 2 +/- hours. praise jeebus! my battery iz HEALED!!!

Gosh, how sporadic! I was at 98% battery charge when my Core 2 Duo had the Battery Update 1.3 installed. Rebooted, and noticed my power saving settings reverted back to "Better Performance". My estimated battery time, however, is quite interesting, and changes every minute or so...
3:30, 4:30, 4:00, (reboot) 2:00, 4:00, 6:00, 6:30(!)
Sure would be nice if I could believe it, but now I just can't trust the battery meter at all. Great.

And so I plugged it back into the power adapter... and now instead of (Charged) it tells me (0:25)... (0:24)... (0:23) (94%). Nice - the update broke... something! And the countdown has a certain sense of doom about it.

Adi -
That's why you install Leopard on an external drive like I did :o

Well, it looks like this update fixes the last update they put out regarding battery issues. They issued the last one around mid-August. I thought it would fix my "prior" issues I was having lately, like 20 minutes on battery. It was ridiculous.I hope this update makes due...only 143 cycles on the battery and before this update the health was at 43%! Now it's saying 87%...we'll see if it's true when I finish re-calibrating the battery...

@Catsby:
That's meant to do that. That's the time 'til it's fully charged.

Installed the update, restarted the Macbook pro as asked and after the reboot I get the screen of death. Pffff. Thx Apple? Still trying to get os x started again.

Hmm, I'm not installing this. Last time I did something similar my battery went from 95% good to random shutdowns after less than 20 minutes on battery (FIVE minutes under load). Especially with your comments it looks like a bad idea at the moment. :/
