iTunes to release exclusive Smashing Pumpkins EP
ZDNet writes that the Smashing Pumpkins will soon release a 4-song acoustic EP exclusively through iTunes. The EP will be called "American Gothic" and will include "The Rose March", "Pox", "Again, Again, Again (the Crux)", and "Sunkissed". iTunes management apparently approached the band, who agreed to put together this exclusive offering between regular albums.

The line-up pictured hasn't existed for around nine years. That depresses me.

Yeah, me too. It's the first thing I noticed. Were there no promo pictures for the most recent "smashing pumpkins" album?

All I can do is hope that this works. The music industry is in need of a major overhaul and the only way to do that is for the current crop of ass-clowns to lose everything.

One of the greatest bands of 90's is back and this upcoming release warms my heart. Of course I'll still need to buy the physical release from an overseas merchant. Long live SP!

Screw that. I bet it'll be an "album only" purchase with DRM. What are they going to do next? Release several different versions of their EP to different big-box stores?
Billy, you're rich enough.
