Actually, the RSS feed for Apple hot news already has the announcements. You guys are late. :-)

a) are you suggesting that somehow we should have the product announcements before Apple makes them? :-)
b) check the front page. http://www.tuaw.com/2008/02/26/new-macbook-and-macbook-pros-now-available/
Still down over here in Aussie land.

February 26 2008 at 9:03 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThe 2.6GHz is a build to order option, like the 2.8GHz on the iMac.
February 26 2008 at 8:59 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyDid you notice that apple remote is a separate purchase now?
February 26 2008 at 8:46 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplySo the new top end pro is 2.5ghz instead of the old one at 2.6ghz?
Hmm....
Updated gfx and multitouch (although not sure what advantage that gives given that the mbp has been able to do two-finger gestures for ages). Nice. Not quite nice enough to want to trade in this 11 day old mbp for a new one though.
There is also a 2GB iPod Shuffle :)

February 26 2008 at 8:46 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyAnyone notice that the processors have 3MB of cache instead of 4MB? And Apple tells us nothing about the new trackpad other than it's multi-touch (as if it were a last minute decision). No new pics of the trackpad or anything.
February 26 2008 at 8:42 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThe Apple Store has MacBook Pro as having either a 2.4 or 2.6 GHz in the product specs on its page, but when you go to buy it says all the models are 2.5 GHz. Is this the update?
