The iTunes Store contains podcasts, TV shows, movies, audiobooks, and iPod games so it is easy to forget (for the sake of this post at least) that it also offers a wide array of music. Apple has recently added a new 'Genres' dropdown to the iTunes Store navigation, so you can find what you're looking for even faster. And to those snarky commenters out there: yes, it is Sunday which by its very nature is a slow news day.
Thanks, Toren

A slow news day indeed, but not slow enough to leave time for proofreading, it would seem. But hey, "it is easy to forgot", so I will "forgave" you.

Amen! Tabs is another reason I prefer the Amazon mp3 music store. Wish we could run the iTunes store in a browser too.

Great. We're living in heady times.
When are the going to add a shopping basket? or bookmarking? Or something that allows me to trace what I may have looked at a few days ago in the store but can't remember exactly where that was?

There is a shopping cart option, its located in the preferences I believe. In fact, I'm using it right now.
