MacBook Air: dangerous weapon?
Engadget has a silly, but mildly humorous post up on a German MacBook Air user who claims his elbow was sliced open by the sharp front edge of the Air. In addition to his sliced up elbow (bis aufs Fleisch!), he says that his couch was ruined by all the blood. Just what we need, another reason for the TSA to ban the Air: it's a deadly weapon. So Air owners out there, have any of you been attacked by your ultraportable Mac?
Update: As one of our commenters pointed out this story was generated by a mistaken translation. The guy's elbow was cut by a regular MacBook, not an Air.

Poor Little Macbook Air...
I have had something come up the last week or so on my MBA that was bothering me. I use a MBA with an external 20 inch monitor in my office at work. Everyday for the last week when I would get to work in the morning and start using the computer, it would imidiatley get hot and the fan would ramp up to around 9000 RMP... Then the computer would start to REALLY SLOW DOWN - to the point where my mouse would track really slowly and applications become unresponsive... Everyday this would continue until about noon and then the computer would cool down and run normally. Then Today I figured it out... each day for the last week, the sun was blasting through my window in the morning. The MBA is made of an aluminium casing and the poor little MBA's metal casing was heating up from solar radiation. Then around noon as the sun passed away from my window the puter would cool down and everything was cool again... Apple Industrial designers, obviously chic not geek...
Anyone have this problem??? - Pull the blinds in the morning. :)
I've cut myself on the macbook before. I've also cut my finger on the iPhone headphone jack with is also pretty sharp.

The edges are sharp indeed once this happens and the only fix is new keyboards.
