Apple leaves placeholder text in a published MobileMe page, eh?

Canada has many things going for it: maple trees everywhere, single-payer health care system and a one-of-a-kind Apple page. One of our readers just tipped us about an error on the MobileMe signup completion page for Canada. Apparently, Apple's designers left in some placeholder text on the signup "thank you" page. While Apple does (yes, they really do) make some mistakes, leaving greeked text on a webpage isn't usually one of them. [If you're saying "that looks like Latin, not Greek," see here. -Ed.]

Hmmm, "single payer health care" would not seem to be something anyone has going FOR them. Talk to some Canucks and they will tell you it is going AGAINST them.

You should see the Brazilian Apple website!!! It has A LOT of Portuguese mistakes: headers in Spanish, Babelfish-style translation and lots of quirks. Not mentioning that part of the content is in English, so you might click a link and voilÃ , there you go to a page totally in English. Oh, and their "news" contain "new" stuff from 2007. Like, Leopard is the next big thing, you know. Heck, they SELL Mac Minis with Tiger!!

It's so laughable that people usually mock Apple users saying that their precious Mac's company won't even bother having decent localized content.
