Zut alors! MacBook announcement doesn't translate well

Thanks to what appears to be a character encoding problem on a French version of the Apple website, the MacBook announcement -- meant to say "perfectly designed" in French -- came out reading "perfectly dumb" (or as one of our tipsters said, a more vulgar version of "perfectly poopy").
That wasn't the only problem: according to Macenstein, a Macgeneration article noted that the announcements were replete with spelling and grammatical errors. (Link is en français.)
The pages have since been updated with better grammar.
Unfortunately my decade-old high school French can't tell me what about the grammar is wrong, but hopefully our commenters can let us know by leaving a comment.
Thanks, Bertie and Fabrizio!

a great classic french comedy movie is 'le diner du con' :
which involves a french yuppie "befriending" an asshole idiot for the purposes of bringing the "best douchebag" to dinner, to win a competition with his yuppie elitist friends. this is a hilarious film rent it if you can.
the english translated name of this film is "idiot dinner".
i am an american with no french past a menu. all who see this movie will understand why that ad is truly f-ing funny to french speakers. plus it's a great movie, one of the funniest i've ever seen.
This is AWECON, -I mean AWESOME!
MUST go into the French version of a Chinglish pool on Flickr!
Looking at the French site, it was more a transcription error than a translation error. Two of the three errors just leave off letters in words (conçu -> con, pour->pou). The third one however does suggest the translator didn't do a good job. They were translating 'Engineered to standards that don't even exist yet' (which doesn't sound like the best phrasing to use in English for starters!) and translates to something like 'Engineered to standards that have to be defined'...it's kind of correct (I'm not native French so I didn't see much wrong with it at first) but a bit too literal (it's now changed to something like 'standards never before used').
Maybe the translator was just having a bad day, or they just put up a first draft?
I was amazed when i saw that on the site, but since i'm not french, the reaction to take a screenshot didn't come quick enough. I cannot add anything to the "con" word matter, it has pretty much been explained in the comments, although i wanted to point out a word that i heard while living in the US: "douchebag". It doesnt mean anything in french, or at the least, "douche" means shower but that's all.
I wonder who came up with it and with what grounds, lol...
It's even better than you think !!!

"New design, New features, New technologies, Entirely designed based on criteria that remain to be defined" !!!!
"Designed entirely according to standards that remain to be defined."
Not grammatically incorrect but probably not an accurate reflection of what they meant.
concerning the last image on MacGeneration, kind of strange because it means :
Here is the new macbook pro
New design, new functionnality, new technology. Entirely designed/made according to criterias that still need to be defined
I can suggest another translation for this word : asshole.
Literaly, asshole means "trou du cul" en français but as an insult, the use of "con" is really close from "asshole".
What the ... ? I 'm loging in to post a comment and this reply above (#34) that I've posted a while ago in another thread appears here (?)
Anyways, con means stupid, period. RDad, "connasse", not "connace". ;-)
Oops ! Typo ! "Conasse" with one N only :-)
