The possibility that iTunes 9 could include integration with social nets furthers the possibility that iTunes world music domination/monopolization could become a reality....that's why we at ThinkIndie have challenged them to a debate over the future of indie music online, aka. iTunes is such a piece of trash. Making it link to social networking is so lame, we will need new words top describe this chump of a program, though I use it to manage all my music, i consider it and all apple native apps trash toys, and further evidence of the impending implosion and decline of apple....the new big brother who decides what you get and when....

They need to add better codec support in iTunes.
e.g. support for enhanced AAC+ needs to be added.

That just doesn't make any sense at all.

They need to add more audiophile related software, better eq with maybe even room correction software so your computer can hear the sound being played and adjust to your rooms acoustics. Itunes was a way for kids to get there crappy 128 mp3s but now that they rule the music industry and people run huge libraries of music through them its time to step things up a bit with quality and stop with the gimmicks. Itunes is all about the tunes isn't it?
