Apple to open 2 New England stores this weekend
Attention, New Englanders: Nashua, New Hampshire and Greenwich, Connecticut will host new Apple Stores as of this weekend. Apple Store Pheasant Lane will open at 310 Daniel Webster Highway in Nashua. You'll find it on the 1st floor of the Pheasant Lane Mall near the Food Court. Doors open at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 21st. The weather will be in the 50's so you needn't bundle up too tightly. You'll find full travel information here.
At the same time (10:00 AM on the 21st), Apple Store Greenwich Avenue will open in Greenwich, CT. This store is located at 356 Greenwich Avenue. Again, the weather will be nice.
We're always happy to see your photos and hear your stories from Apple Store openings, so let us know how it went. Here's hoping a little shopping therapy will erase last week's Patriots loss from your memories.

I am thinking about going to the Nashua, New Hampshire opening, it is only about 4 hours from where I live in Maine. I was first in line for the Maine store, maybe I will try for first in line in New Hampshire as well :P

Connecticut isn't New England. Congrats to New Hampshire though!

Last I checked Connecticut was part of New England...

haha yes, technically it is. It was a joke, not a fact. However, after living there for two years, I do not feel that it's truely a New England state like Massachusettes, New Hampshire, etc. It should be absorbed by New York.

I really don't see the point in the Nashua, NH store. There's an Apple Store 30 minutes away in Salem.

Not a nice thing to do to the authorized Apple store less than a mile away!

Hmm, well 30 minutes is on the low side - it's more like 45, and that's if you start from Nashua. But there are a lot of people who live west, northwest, and southwest of Nashua for whom going to Salem is a problem. This was a very smart move. It will hurt the MacEdge store down the road - I'm really sorry about that -- but from a business perspective, Apple did the right thing for Apple.

I think Manchester would have been a better choice.

There are Apple stores opening everywhere, but why isn't there one in Leeds (UK) yet? It has some stunning architecture and would be a great earner in terms of the sheer number of people who go shopping in the city centre, as theres no REAL competition from an indoor shopping centre. Why Apple?! WHY?!

I'm from New England, and I hate the Pats. Just for the record.
