Software Update alert: iTunes 9.1.1 released

Good news, everyone!
iTunes 9.1.1 just poked its head up in Software Update and said "download me."
According to the update notes, iTunes 9.1.1 provides a number of important bug fixes, including:
• Addressing several stability issues with VoiceOver;
• Addressing a usability issue with VoiceOver and Genius Mixes;
• Addressing issues with converting songs to 128 kbps AAC while syncing; and
• Addressing other issues that improve stability and performance. (Probably the biggest and most important reason for the update, in our humble opinion.)

Why can't I burn cd's anymore. I keep getting a window pop-up that says the registry settings for importing & burning cd's & dvd's are missing.I have done everything I know but I'm still having this problem. Please can someone help me? I am close to pulling my hair out over this problem. I have emailed itunes about this but still no answer.

April 28 2010 at 9:05 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyEver since upgrading to iTunes 9.1 backups of my 16gb 3gs take 6 hrs. Is this not a common problem? I'm on firmware 3.1.2 with blackra1n jb and win7 x64
April 28 2010 at 7:54 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyHmm. How comes my Xcode never shows up in Software Update and I have to download new versions manually?
April 28 2010 at 2:33 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyIt supports folders now in iPhone OS 4, at least it didn´t pop up an error or destroy the folder in the iPhone...
April 27 2010 at 8:10 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWell... nope, after installing any app from iTunes to the iPhone, the folders are gone again... Apple WTF? What are you doing???
April 27 2010 at 8:40 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWill I finally get to sync my damn smart playlists?
April 27 2010 at 7:55 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI just wish they would fix the podcast scrolling problems on the touch.
April 27 2010 at 5:42 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI did the install. It's recopying my entire music library to my iPod. Thank god I have the 3rd Gen Touch, or it wouldn't finish until tomorrow.
April 27 2010 at 6:41 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replyis this new? The syncing iPhone page now shows the phone with apps on it, instead of just a blank screen. see: http://grab.by/4306
April 27 2010 at 5:41 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI have a 3G and it shows a blank screen, so it's probably new. I haven't updated yet.
April 27 2010 at 5:54 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI have an iPhone 3GS swv3.1.2 and iTunes 9.1.0 and the apps show up on mine. They don't reflect my actual apps though, they're just preloaded stuff (eg. Mail, Weather, Calc, Stocks, etc.).
May 03 2010 at 12:58 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI just wish Apple would upgrade the "Convert to 128kbps AAC" to at least 192kbps.
April 27 2010 at 5:32 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyNo kidding! 128Kbps sounds terrible, but the 50% increase in bitrate to 192Kbps makes all the difference in the world.
April 27 2010 at 5:42 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyFor those wondering, it didn't fix the backup error with certain pre-release iPhone OS sw.
April 27 2010 at 5:32 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replythanks - much appreciated info (sad but appreciated)
