Apple Order Status system down until May 22

A few readers have tipped us that Apple's order status system for its online store is down until May 22. As you can see from the image above, the familiar sticky note is accompanied by text informing users of the downtime. We do want to note that Apple's online store is open and fully operational. It is only the order status system, which allows users to check the status of current orders, that will not be back online until May 22.

Curiously, the order status system also went offline just over a year ago.

It seems apple doesn't have the same calendar as the rest of the world. I'm eagerly waiting for my iPad2 wich was given to UPS on Friday. And now I can't even feed my addiction to page-reloading with my order status. :( Murphy's law to it's paroxysm... Not until may 22nd heh ? So much for the punctuality apple.

Coincident or planned: The 'big thing' that is happening in Apple Stores worldwide is on the same date/weekend...

6 pm... I still here, and I don`t see anyone being raptured, perhaps it is because here are only few christians. As a proof Japan`s Apple Store is not closed :p

Well you can't expect them to have the Christian believers that drive for UPS, FedEx, etc to put others in danger. Let's say they are making a delivery when the rapture happens, get in an accident and run into a non-raptured citizen. All the lawyers (because you know they won't be going to Heaven) get on Apple's case (except for Job's and other Christian Apple employees) for not having thought about those that would be left behind. Apple gets sued and pays for it for seven more years until total Armageddon...and the lawyers go to hell...well it's 4:30am here, can't blame me for a good story at least.

I never said Job's was a Christian. I just hope God let's him in. Ponders what kind of Apple Store they have in Heaven. too bad it's probably always crowded with Angels uploading the latest cloud photos to facebook.
