Prime Location and Long-Term Plans

Apple Borivali covers about 12,616 square feet inside the newly opened mall. Reports suggest Apple signed a lease lasting 10 years and 10 months. The agreement includes 10 months of free rent. After that, Apple will reportedly pay around $21,000 per month plus a revenue share that increases from 2% to 2.5%.

The new store sits about 13 miles from Apple BKC, which opened as India’s first Apple Store. Like other Apple retail locations, Apple Borivali runs on 100% renewable energy and maintains carbon neutrality.

Local Touches and Digital Extras

Unlike some earlier openings, Apple has not scheduled special Today at Apple sessions for this launch. However, the store’s official website offers free downloadable wallpapers inspired by its logo.

Additionally, Apple invites users to “Dance to the beats of Borivali” through a specially curated Apple Music playlist. This local touch highlights Apple’s effort to connect with the community beyond hardware sales.

With Apple Borivali, the company strengthens its retail footprint in India. As demand grows, Apple continues to invest in physical spaces that blend technology, sustainability, and local culture.
