NFL Player Faces Allegations After Phone Dispute

According to reports, an argument escalated over allegations of infidelity and involved both parties’ phones. Investigators claim Cooper damaged his girlfriend’s iPhone by biting its screen during the confrontation. Both individuals were arrested, and Cooper later entered a not-guilty plea.
AirTags Continue to Influence Investigations
Apple’s AirTag tracking device appeared in multiple cases. In Florida, authorities secured a conviction against a man accused of secretly placing an AirTag on a woman’s vehicle. Investigators reportedly connected the device to the suspect through Apple records.
Meanwhile, a Texas woman used an AirTag in a very different way. She placed the tracker in her husband’s clothing to monitor his movements after immigration officials detained him. The device helped her follow his transfers between detention facilities.

In California, a restaurant employee tracked a stolen business iPad through Find My and successfully recovered it after confronting the suspects. Additionally, AirPods helped a Milwaukee couple locate a stolen vehicle that had already been crushed in a scrapyard. The discovery later contributed to an arrest.

Several other incidents involved stolen iPhones, missing MacBooks, and lost AirPods. In one unusual case, a company claimed a newly hired employee disappeared with a work-issued MacBook before ever reporting for duty. Authorities also investigated thefts involving iPhone 17 devices in Texas and India.
