Apple’s recent wave of price increases has begun affecting products across its lineup, including Macs and iPads. However, not every device has become more expensive just yet. A handful of MacBook Pro models continue to sell at their previous prices through third-party retailers, creating some of the biggest discounts seen this summer.
The temporary pricing gap has caught the attention of bargain hunters, especially as Apple’s new prices start appearing on major online stores.

Savings Still Available on 14-Inch Models
The 14-inch MacBook Pro lineup now has only a few discounted options remaining. One standout deal is the M5 Pro model with a 15-core chip, 24GB of memory, and 2TB of storage, which is available for $2,549.99. That price sits $449 below Apple’s new retail price.
Another configuration with an 18-core chip and the same memory and storage specifications sells for $2,749.99, also representing a $449 discount.
These offers have become increasingly attractive because comparable Apple Store prices have already climbed higher.
Bigger Discounts on 16-Inch MacBook Pros
Shoppers looking for larger displays can find even more options. The 16-inch M5 Pro model with 24GB of memory and 1TB of storage starts at $2,649.99, offering savings of $349.
Meanwhile, higher-end versions deliver even deeper price cuts. The 16-inch M5 Pro with 48GB of memory costs $3,049.99, or $549 less than its new price. Likewise, the M5 Max models with 36GB and 48GB of memory are discounted by $549 and $649, respectively.
Deals May Not Last Much Longer
Retailers typically adjust prices to match Apple’s changes over time. Therefore, these discounts may disappear once existing inventory runs out or stores update their pricing.
For consumers planning to upgrade, the current deals offer a rare opportunity to avoid Apple’s latest price hikes while still purchasing the company’s newest MacBook Pro models.
As prices continue to rise across the technology market, temporary discounts like these may become increasingly difficult to find. For now, however, buyers still have a chance to secure premium Apple laptops at significantly lower prices than expected.
