Apple TV has delivered its strongest Emmy performance yet, collecting 20 awards during the first two nights of the 78th Emmy Awards. The achievement made Apple TV the most-awarded network on the second night of the event.
Comedy-horror series Widow’s Bay led the charge with eight wins. In fact, it earned more Emmys than any other individual program during the first two nights.
Widow’s Bay Leads Apple’s Emmy Success
Widow’s Bay secured awards across acting and major production categories. Betty Gilpin won Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy. The series also earned honors for casting, cinematography, production design, music composition, music supervision, sound editing and sound mixing.
Meanwhile, Pluribus collected four awards. Its victories covered production design, picture editing, main title theme music and sound mixing.
Margo’s Got Money Troubles added another three wins. The series earned recognition for contemporary costumes, hairstyling and non-prosthetic makeup.
Palm Royale and Mr. Scorsese Add More Wins
Apple also found success with Palm Royale. The series claimed three awards, including choreography, period costumes and period or fantasy/sci-fi makeup.
In addition, Mr. Scorsese won Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series. These programming victories brought Apple TV’s show-related total to 19 Emmys.
However, Apple’s final award came from outside its entertainment lineup. The company’s accessibility-focused “I’m Not Remarkable” campaign won Outstanding Commercial, lifting the overall total to 20.
More Emmy Opportunities Remain
The 2026 awards season has already set a new benchmark for Apple. The company received 89 Emmy nominations across 15 programs, marking its strongest showing to date.
Moreover, Apple still has opportunities to add to its total. Programs including Shrinking, Slow Horses and Your Friends & Neighbors remain among its additional nominees ahead of the September 14 ceremony.
