The elevator in the center cylinder of the staircase is pretty cool. Glad to see the price premiums we pay for Apple hardware being put to good use. ;)

I heard a rumor that Steve Balmer was going to be at the opening to release a flock of pigeons over the glass structure. Has he no shame!!!

That shop looks incredible. It will now be a landmark that people 'must see' when they go to New York. Apple really don't do things by halves.
Interesting read on Steve Balmer (http://battellemedia.com/archives/001835.php). Just goes to show the anger within MS. That won't get you anywhere.
