She said yes!
Remember the dude that proposed via Apple's time lapse video outside the new Fifth Avenue Apple Store? Kottke.org received an email from his fiancé, Uschi Lang. That's right, she said yes! James, that's the name of the man in the photo, had been meaning to drop the big question for months before he had an idea when he was waiting with Uschi outside the Apple Store. He sneaked back whilst she was sleeping and stood in front of the camera for 15 minutes with his proposal signs to ensure that the time lapse would pick him up. A few days later James led Uschi down a row of candles leading up to his G5 and showed her the video and of course, she said yes. Congratulations you two!
Now, about that row of candles leading up to his Mac. Is it normal to do that when you're not proposing? What?! I'm just asking...

Good thing after you tie the knot to have access to tech support.

That's great she said yes...but this could be one of the nerdiest proposals in history. Props though.

Do yourself a favor and keep a secret separate checking account away from your joint checking with her.
No combined credit cards either. Hide investments etc (try to work something out with your employer cause your W-2 will come out in court.
Get a jump on these things, it will help you out later at divorce time(just in case).
Wait at least 5 years before kids.
Never allow her not to work, and when she takes off of work to have a kid, use V-chip/DVR/etc. settings to block out "Oprah", and "The View" type shows.
And by all means, if you have the balls, pre-nup.

Ah how cute.
I did wonder if she said yes.
All the best for the future and ignore the cynics.

Candles leading up to his G5? I bet she was scared about a threesome .... just kidding, that's awful. I shouldn't say things like that.
All the best, James. I'm in love with an Apple girl too.

No, I just live in Virginia. You gotta protect yourself in case things turn sour.

#7 - No, I just live in Virginia. Better to protect yourself just in case. Who knows what can happen down the line.

What's scary is that when I read the headline for this story, "She said yes!" in my RSS feed, I knew EXACTLY what it was referring to.
