Boot Camp 1.1.2

Boot Camp, the beta Apple software utility that allows you to run Windows on an Intel Mac (using a separate partition) has been updated to 1.1.2. Changes include:
  • The Apple USB Modem now works correctly
  • Trackpad scrolling and right-click gestures work correctly
  • Fixed idle sleep bugs
  • Reduced dialogs during Windows driver installation
  • Improved international support
  • Improved 802.11 wireless networking support
That's a lot for a .0.1 release.

Thanks, Jamie.

Update: The Boot Camp website listed out of date improvements, this post now has the actual improvements listed in the Read Me. Thanks, Kevin.

Since installing 1.1.2, I have the following problems:
(1) I can no longer 'right-click' with by single-button apple mouse by holder down the right apple key. (Worked perfectly in 1.1.1)
(2) My WindowsXP drive (NTFS) is no longer automatically mounted under OSX - I have to do it manually by running sudo mount_ntfs from Terminal, and then force the reloading of finder.

Anyone else experienced either of these?

The trackpad scrolling is great. It's not that we can't function without it. It's just that old habits dies hard. This may be a bit shallow but I like the reduced dialogs during installation the most! I get easily annoyed when interrupted too many times.

I have not updated my boot camp to the latest version 1.1.2, When I updated to the present version 1.1.1. I lost the bluetooth but I was able to get it back after getting some assistance from a blog. Will this happen to me again if I were to update to 1.1.2. My only reason of wanting to update is that I would like to get the Apple USB modem to work under Windows. So far, I have not been able to although I read somewhere that Apple USB modem works under 1.1.1. Is that true? Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Can you install 1.1.2 right over 1.1.1?

I'm using my bluetooth Logitech MX1000 mouse with no problems for a while now. But now that they updated scrolling trackpad and right clicking I might not need it anymore.

Is the fn + display, volume, etc suppose to work? I've used the toolbar for adjustments but that's not fun.

Does the added 802.11 support allow for using 802.11 draft-n in Windows?

This update, for those that are unsure, is exactly what I have been waiting for. It is an update for the new C2D MBPs. The keyboard drivers did not work, nor did the airport drivers, nor did the FW800, etc. I am glad they added the trackpad functionality as I always try scrolling and right clicking on my trackpad in XP out of habit, now it actually does something. Glad my keyboard works correctly again in XP.

I am using a MS bluetooth mouse fine with bootcamp 1.1.1...

What I really want to see is support for the fan on the logic board when running XP...
