Live Site-ing WWDC 2007

Are you unable to attend WWDC? Do you want to feel as if you're there? TUAW reader Jason points to this WWDC2007 LiveSiting page. It automatically updates every 15 seconds to give you the feel as if you were really there. As I write, attendees are in line, waiting to move upstairs to the main event. Thanks Jason.

Update: TUAW readers report (quite humorously) that the site does not appear to be updating properly.

That's hilarious. The site actually performed great. The page wasn't showing a delayed video frame of anything, it was just a pic of a long ass line. The page itself was just a basic text/image live blogging page. And as you can see on http://live.sitening.com/wwdc2007 it worked quite well. In fact, it was super speedy the entire time thanks to Amazon.com's S3 servers. Next time we'll have some new features and a lot more images.

In the past hour of watching the man in the hat ive noticed that not one person has made a lunge for the food and beverages.

Bloke with the hat there seems to be standing very very still. In fact, they all do...very civilised queueing.
