The only weird thing I encountered was that Safari 3 Beta could not launch while updating. I have no idea if this is natural behavior because I never tried it before :)

And the DS2, too.

Slazh: Chances are that 10.4.10 has updates for Safari 2 and the older version of Webkit which were replaced when you installed the beta. There is a pretty good chance that you will have to reinstall the beta after updating.

Did I miss this before now or is Yahoo! Sync new? Check out the
/System/PrivateFrameworks folder.
Could be some groundwork for that thing they're doing on the 29th?

Taylor: That Yahoo! Sync folder is new. I haven't updated yet, and I don't have that folder.

DEFINITELY for the iPhone. Check the package contents of the Yahoo sync agent... there is a file called PhoneConduit.plist

Still no iSync support for the SonyEricsson M600i.
The phone has been out for eons and i guess it will have to wait a bit longer...

Heh, I wasn't expecting it to come today. Before I fire up Software Updater, can anyone tell me if they are experiencing problems with the update? Maybe I should use the combo installer, being on the safe side because my 10.4.9+SoftwareUpdater+prebinding problems were very painful.

I haven't been on a mac long enough to witness the release of a new OS. Is apple going to stop releasing updates for 10.4 when 10.5 comes out?

Looks like they've fixed the issue with the way too loud volume settings - I can now listen to music quietly late at night again without using my ipod earbuds.

There is usually one final update after the release of the next version (e.g. 10.3.9 released after 10.4)
