Well, it appears to be update day. iPhoto '08 has just been updated. According to Apple, the newest release, pegged 7.1.1, supports Leopard compatibility, improves stability, and fixes some minor issues. Want to drag a file to another folder and copy it instead of moving it? Press the Option key when you drag that file and it'll be duplicated rather than moved entirely.

I'm tired of waiting 5 minutes for iphoto to load up. hmm..it now only bounces 3 times in the dock (as opposed to 25, yes i've counted) but it still hangs when you quit iphoto. What gives? I only have around 2500 pictures.

it doesn't require 10.4.anything, by the way. leopard get it too.

I've had tons of crashing issues in iPhoto with leopard.
Hopefully this update fixes it.

OK, I fire up iPhoto 7.1 and tell it to check for updates, it tells me there is an update available, but Software Update keeps insisting there are no updates. I am baffled...
