As he usually does, Steve went on CNBC after this morning's keynote presentation to pitch his company's newest goodie. In this case, the MacBook Air. He talks about the size, of course, but also the relationship between Apple and Intel as well as the process of building the MacBook Air:"...We built probably a hundred models to get to this ... If we could make this real, we would all just lust after this. And we did ... It's been two years of work to make this."
Most interestingly, CNBC reports that the supposed failed negotiations between Apple and China Mobile amounted to nothing more than a single visit to Cupertino by a single representative; hardly the contentious relationship we thought existed.

Oh, I thought the title was "Steve pitches the Macbook in the Air at CNBC"
I would have read it then.

Either that guy is remarkably short for a reporter, or he's in front of a green screen and the background is too high. (especially in the second and fourth Moscone shot)
...Or everyone at mac world is a foot taller than your average person

That's all very nice, and very thin, but where's the 10.5.2 update actual real world users are waiting for? The best announcement Jobs could have made was: "Leopard was a work in progress when it shipped. Now it's finished."

That's so retarded, who would admit shipping a work in progress product, it was fine it just had a few kinks but far from unfinished.
