Apple posts WWDC 2008 keynote in HD
First you could stream the yesterday's keynote, then you could download it via iTunes, and now you can stream it in HD. Nothing beats seeing an Apple presentation in HD, you can almost smell the Old Spice on Phil Schiller. Thanks, Jeff.

I watched the Keynote this morning. I particularly enjoyed the clapping along to the Disney song, "It's a Small World" when the countries which were to get the 3G iPhone were rolled out. Al Gore seemed to be having fun!
The audio has now been scrubbed from the video at that part (on the Apple website as well as the iTunes download - 1.35.00 or thereabouts). Wouldn't the rights issues have been worked out in advance...? Strange.

Anyone have a link to an HD download of the keynote? My cruddy apartment ISP caps me at 40kbps download, so HD streaming is a no-go.

Search for "Apple Keynote Podcasts" in iTunes.

Am I the only one with this issue? Both HD and non-HD, all I get is QuickTime opens and shows a little blue dotted line, and then after a few minutes says "disconnected"
I WANT TO SEE THIS!!!!!!!
Well, I already saw it thanks to iTunes, but I WANT TO SEE THIS IN HD!!!!!! o_O

Why bother? This is by far the most boring keynote I have ever seen. iPhone 2.0 SDK and iPhone 3G with only the one throwaway line about the next version of OS X. Way too much of the keynote was dominated by third party developers showing off their new apps. Plus Steve Forstall definitely doesn't have the same RDF that Steve Jobs does.

The keynote was ok, but the Apple software release was definitely pretty cool. It was nice to see that rumours of the GPS became true, and the $199 pricetag is a shocker. With that, I thought about the Android and how it'll compete with Apple and thought I'd share how Android could be competitive with the iPhone. http://www.openxfer.com/wordpress/2008/06/10/what-the-android-needs-to-do-to-compete-with-the-iphone/?1

What's shocking about $199? Do you still not get it that AT&T is subsidizing the iPhone now and the service plan is going up $10 a month? So the iPhone will now cost $40 more in the long run. Granted, you aren't paying that up front.
The iPhone now joins the rest of the American subsidized cell phone market.
