New Texas Apple Store set to open

Apple is about to open their 14th retail store in Texas -- San Antonio's second -- this Saturday, June 28th. Apple Store North Star is located in the North Star Mall, next to Ann Taylor. You can get full driving directions here. The doors open at 10:00 AM. Two stores is pretty good, San Antonio, but Houston still has you beat with three.

This store is pretty narrow at only 34 feet wide. Aren't things supposed to be bigger in Texas?

JD Latham-

I live in Texas.

Please learn how to communicate in English before posting your comments. I believe you were trying to say something along the lines of:

there are TOO many malls IN Texas

Moron.

Oh, and we have indoor shopping in Texas because it gets kind of warm here in the summer months. If you don't like Texas, please stay away. Thanks.

North Star Mall is ghetto. Has a comically oversized cowboy boot in front of it, though (world's largest?? -- like it matters). Hard to miss, anyway.

This update took forever and now my fans are running like jet engines - seriously, I've never heard fans sound this loud.......okay, the fan has finally subsided, but it ran continuously for just about 2 full minutes.
Went into disk utility and ran permissions - everything fine (fingers crossed, knocking on wood).

There will be an Apple Store opening soon at University Park Village just outside downtown Fort Worth between the Cultural District and TCU.

Yea, I don't get it. When you go to apple/retail, there is just one Apple store in Dallas... but I know there is at least 1 more (Knox Street in Dallas). I don't see why they don't have these listed on their site.

Anyone know why?

That's all the one at Partridge Creek in Michigan has to be. Very, very thin compared to the others I've seen. You can barely walk in there half the time

Not to nitpick, but the Houston area as a whole has 6 Apple Stores, not just 3. Galleria, Memorial City, Willowbrook, First Colony, The Woodlands, and Baybrook. Only 3 are technically in Houston city limits (Willowbrook, Galleria, and Memorial City), but all are easily accessible to Houston-area residents.

The 2 San Antonio stores are the only Apple stores in the Greater SA area.
