Oh goody! And to think I was just wondering when I'd get my first update for my "new" iBook G3. I love it by the way. 900MHz 14". :D
Anyone know where to get a cheap Original AirPort card? If you do, please email me.

They couldn't just build this in to 10.5.4? Honestly, wtf.

"Idiot." Ouch. I scanned it a couple times and didn't see "Tiger" anywhere. Oversight on my part, I guess. Unless TUAW edited it after my comment, of course.

Alex, the original post said nothing about Tiger. They snuck it in later without mentioning the edit.

The last security update I installed for Tiger totally screwed up my system. After the install it restarted and booted up to the Unix core, ran through some stuff and gave me an error message. I had to re-install the OS. It was a pain in the ass....
Then the next day my Super-Drive died. They wanted to charge $500 to replace it, so I got a external fire-wire DVD-r.
Needless to say I'm a bit wary of installing this update.

Using an old iBook G3 900Mhz, it works fine after the update.
