Apple announces date for Q4 conference call
Earlier this week, Apple announced that their fourth quarter financial conference call will take place on October 21st. The live audio stream will begin at 2PM Pacific time. We'll be liveblogging the call, so check back on the 21st for up-to-the-second information and analysis. Apple's stock took a significant dive last month, as did the rest of the market. Still, Apple's overall market share continues to be strong, and retail stores continue to open across the globe. It will be an interesting report.

This call is something that the do every quarter to discuss their financial earnings, they don't use it for product announcements. Again this doesn't mean that they won't have an event in the next few days or weeks regarding new or updated products, I'm just saying that this (October 21, 2pm) ain't it.

hence the name "brick"
do you think this is also going to be the announcement for the new mac line or is that date still the rumored october 14?
October 03 2008 at 12:55 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThis will not be a product announcement, if they are planning on having an event on the 14th I would look for an announcement about that early next week. They have a history of giving about 7 days notice on the events.
