Found Footage: Apple designs in 3D

Transparent House
, a San Fransisco-based 3D design and visualization studio, has created this stunning video that showcases some of Apple's best designs over its 34-year history. Ground-breaking products from the Apple I in 1976 to the iPad in 2010 are shown.

What makes this video so impressive is that everything in it is entirely 3D generated. The animation was done using 3Ds Max and V-Ray render and only took about 10 days to complete. Check out the video below to see if your favorite Apple product made the list.

@joanna...I have been dealing with your constant and complete negativity for as long as I have been reading this blog and it's time I really told you what I think about your comments...

WTF is wrong with you...why do you continue to read, let alone comment on this blog...you NEVER have anything good to say...I mean NOT ONCE have I seen a comment from you that was endearing or positive in nature...

it must really suck to be you...and especially be the people that are in your life because you must make them all miserable

I try to not say things personally about the comments made on these blogs because I don't know the person writing them and don't have the right to say anything...but this is where I feel I know you enough to say...STOP IT...

STOP reading this blog and be damned STOP commenting on it...because NO ONE cares or wants to know what you think about anything EVER AGAIN...because we all know you will hate it...or have some snide comment to make about the article or the comments made here

TUAW is a great place...and I don't always agree with the articles written and have made a few negative comments in the past but there is a line that you CROSSED a long time ago...and we don't want to hear it...we don't want to see the constant back and forth arguments you make against people that lay you out for being totally negative all the time...and I'm sure you will just comment back with something nasty like you always do...

but PLEASE before you do...go to your comment page by clicking on your name in one of the posts...and I just went thru 3 pages of your comments...and you have 351 just for TUAW alone and NOT ONE was in a positive tone or note...NOT ONE...this has to stop you have to figure out what it is that causes you to be so hateful all the time...it's not healthy...you have to heal from whatever it was in your life that made this bitter...and I hope you get that help because I have been there and it's not a fun place to be...I will keep you in my thoughts and make sure I don't think of how awful you are to every single article you read but how amazing I have always thought your avatar is for your posts...

The huge bezel is for typing. Acts like a palm rest. I do agree. It's ugly. But I think this is the first time apple has gone with a working Design over a better looking one.

Throw in the iPod and an iMac and it would be the kind of iPad commercial a PC manufacturer would have made in 2008.

That was pretty cool. What really sold it was the depth of field effects they put in it. Aside from missing some very key products like the iPod and iMac, very well done.

The wide bezel is a necessity to accomodate thumbs as you're holding the device. You're absolutely right about the software, though.
