250 Apple ads and movies online

The Different District is hosting 250 Apple ads and movies for you to enjoy, and save to your mac. The movies span subjects from iMac ads to the SNL spoof of Steve Jobs.

Sure, these videos are available in other places on the net, but the folks at the Different District have organized them and made them searchable, two big pluses.

A lot of those videos came from my website back when I used to host them. I still have the emails from John Tylko.

I'd still host movies like that but it got to the point I realized I'd have to keep up with them all the time. And back then I didn't have nearly as much bandwidth as I do now.

LB, you're talking about the 1999 MacWorld NY Keynote. That was the one where the original iBook was released. The Keynote was introduced by Noah Wylie from ER/Pirates as the "iCEO". He went on with the whole "Insanely Great!" speech before the real Jobs finally came on stage and showed him how to really do it. "We've got some great new products. Some really great new products. Some INSANELY GREAT new products! Some really totally wildly INSANELY GREAT new products!!!" Well worth a download and watch.

Oh, you don't have it? Well, here you go. Consider this a gift.

Can someone tell me how to see a list of all the videos? All I see is 5 recent videos and that's about it. The only other option is to search for stuff as far as I can see.

One video that I would have expected to find *somewhere* is the Macworld keynote that started with the guy from 'Pirates of Silicon Valley' (sorry, his name escapes me now). I've never seen it (having only been a mac convert for a few years), but I've been looking out for it for what seems like an age. If anyone can point me to it, I'd be very grateful.

It looks like the designer of the log is a fan of Daredevil.

Thanks for the memories!
