Spyshot: Alabama's Apple Store revealed

Earlier this week, we mentioned that Alabama's very first Apple Store - in Birmingham - will finally open this coming Saturday the 14th. TUAW operative Jeremy saw our post and went down to the Summit Mall, camera in hand, and took this shot of workers revealing the store's facade. That's a cute display in the front window, though we thought the iPod shuffles were actually a lot smaller.

Liqwid - what Apple Store are you talking about? Bridge Street is "supposed" to get one, but Bridge Street is still just a hole in the ground. The Apple symbol on University west of the Madison Square Mall is the new Mac Resource store. Is there another location I don't know about? I can't wait for HSV to get an Apple Store.

It's just too bad I can't make it to the grand opening. This is the closest I've ever been to an Apple store and I have to work on the 14th. Frick. Thankfully I get off early that afternoon so at least I can make it by later on Saturday.
