Found Footage: Apple.com, this is your life!
This is fun. A couple of years ago, we pointed out a nice archive of Apple's homepage. Today, the folks at Macenstein have collected similar images from Flickr user Kernel Panic into a video history. Some of the really old stuff isn't represented, but it's still a fun way to waste a few minutes.
Who remembers Apple Cafe? How about the smoking bunny suit? Or my favorite: "Beyond the rumor sites. Way beyond."
Enjoy.

wow that takes me back - I remember seeing a lot of those pages when they first went up.
Watching it all in one video really shows how good the Apple marketing folks are.
Some notable ones..
- Rip. Mix. Burn.
- Side profile shot of the iBook showing off all the ports (take that MacBookAir)
- All the iTunes promotions, - AOL, Pepsi, 1billion song countdown
- Feel good pages for American Red Cross, Beatles etc

The vid was fine and all but slow it down and edit to the beat, for reference see any skateboard video made in the last 10 years

Pretty cool. I wanted to look at them a bit longer though. And to different music. But thanks for putting it together.

Great. Now I'm going to have the stupid Poison/Warrent/Mr. Big song in my head.
I remember the iPod introduction as being one of my first legitimate visits to Apple.com, and I remember thinking "This is their website? It's just a big picture of an iPod."
They've used that website layout to great effect over the last 9 or so years.

Did I miss Ellen Feiss?
Way too much time spent on the widgets, and not enough on switchers. :)
I liked the inclusion of the disaster response pages, though.

Oh, I don't know about 'not enough switchers'. Janie Porsche is more than enough for me...
