There is nothing better than sharing the joy of a Steve Jobs Keynote with fellow Apple fans. That's why several of TUAW's bloggers (myself included) are hanging out in the tuawrocks room in IRC (the server is: irc.freenode.net, channel is 'tuawrocks'). Join us to chat about what we hope to see, the live coverage, and the aftermath.Holding the Command key (aka the Apple key) and pressing Tab will cycle through your open applications. It's easier to Cmd-Tab if you are Copy (Cmd-C) and Pasting (Cmd-V) to and from various applications.

If you actually want people to join, I might recommend providing a server and a channel and any additional information.

Something's definitely amiss with IRC because none of the freenode.net servers have a tuawrocks channel.

MacRumors already did, irc.macrumorslive.com channel #macrumors is moderated and in 'auditorium mode' (+u) so that you can't see joins/parts, and only the ops can talk.
TUAW isn't that important and is more like the sister channel, #macrumorschat

Do /ignore #tuawrocks ALL-PUBLIC-ACTIONS
This will stop the join/leave/nickname change messages etc.

they locked down the tuawrocks channel due to abuse of the file sharing system. for shame.
