I'm going in for two reasons:
1. I'd like to go to an Apple Store opening
2. My iPod touch is broken and I'm taking it in for repair
Perhaps I'll see you there Robin!

Just got back from the Apple Store - it was manic with loads of crazy people that work in the store giving everyone high-fives when they came in the store (very American and stupid!)
A very boring plain black t-shirt. Not sure it was actually worth the wait!

It's like comparing Alton Towers to Disneyland Florida!

Hi People. This is my first write-up to the site! I live in Leicester UK & went to the opening of the new store. It was a bit manic because there was a massive queue, people some how got there before the official opening of the New Highcross Centre. The staff came running out whooping and shouting, taking video & photo's, going back in but still not letting anyone in. It seemed a little false coming from the Brit's because you American's do drama far better than us! I waited by the door, a burly security guard asked if I was in the queue, I said no , '' Waiting for the Wife"" I replied. After a 10 second countdown, the crowd surged. In the rush, I just slipped in! I quickly started to speak to one of the more mature members of staff in a blue apple t-shirt. Security went a little over the top to keep people out, which was weird because there were more staff in the place than customers. I wasn't going to buy anything in the crush, I'll wait till the initial excitement dies down & then have a look.I was a given a t-shirt on the way in, then I kind young girl gave me another one on the way out.
1 each for the kids!! Bye - Rob Spencer.

I was the first person into the store... those high fives and chants were annoying as hell.
