devsugar: WWDC 2010 videos, slides, and sample code now available
Paid members of the iOS developer program who did not attend WWDC may want to head on over to Apple's WWDC 2010 video page. Roughly a billion hours (if my quick calculations can be believed) of WWDC session video is now available for download from iTunes. You'll be able to find videos on topics from application frameworks to graphics to core OS topics to dev tools. Sample code and slides are also available. Please keep in mind that this material remains under NDA, so we will leave the content specifics as an exercise for the reader.
Go enjoy your videos!

I only get internal server errors.
Stop downloading y'all!
Strike that; it wasn't because Apple's server were overwhelmed, but because there was a cookie set somewhere so I couldn't continue last night's session. After quitting Safari all went well.
BTW, the link to the sample source code took me quite some time to find. It's in iTunes, and will take you back to your browser again.
Or just click here:

I can download the videos and I'm not a paid developer, I just have a free account.

Nonsense! The whole reason to go to WWDC is to show your app to TUAW!

Yes. Last year I paid $300 just for the iPhone track. I think the iPhone + Mac videos were $500. I am flabbergasted that they're free. This is great.
A bit off topic ... and I know this has been covered in the past but I couldn't quickly find it ... anyone recommend a good resource for quickly getting up to speed on Xcode, Cocoa and Objective-C from a **completely beginner** perspective (either free or paid ... I don't care)? Does the Mac or iPhone developer center (developer.apple.com) have **beginner** instructional content?

Programming in Objective C 2.0 is a great book. I believe even if you had no prior programming experience, you could learn from this book. http://www.amazon.com/Programming-Objective-C-2-0-Stephen-Kochan/dp/0321566157/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1276807442&sr=8-1
This won't teach you much about Cocoa, but it'll give you a more thorough understanding of Objective C than any other book or resource I've seen.
