iOS 4.3.5 (GSM) and 4.2.10 (CDMA) released; adds more security patches

Well, that didn't take long. Just a few scant days after iOS 4.3.4 came out, a new version of the OS -- iOS 4.3.5 -- has been released that "fixes a security vulnerability with certificate validation." The CDMA version of iOS has also been updated to 4.2.10.

The update is available through iTunes, or you can download the specific version for your iOS device directly from the links below.

iPad

iPad 2

iPad 2,2 / iPad 2,3

iPhone 4 (GSM)

iPhone 4 (CDMA)

iPhone 3GS

iPod touch (3rd generation)

iPod touch (4th generation)

As TUAW gets verification of any other added features or bug fixes, this post will be updated.

So i guess Apple is giving the proverbial F U to verizon iphone users and not releasing 4.3 at all for us? I wonder if 5.0 will come to verizon at all either? I seem to remember that the dev preview version of 5.0 is only for AT&T phones.

Is this the answer to my own question?
Right click> Open with> iTunes

Doesn't seem to do anything. However I did click on "check for updates" in iTunes and it said there was an update available. It did not show up automatically.

Okay. So I downloaded the update from YOUR site and I got the following file type:

iPhone2,1_4.3.5_8L1_Restore.ipsw

What do I do with that file? Is it compressed? Where do I need to put that file?

Thanks.

I have not updated since 4.3.2, are this updated just security patches or are there any worthy enhancements?

Depends if you think making your phone more secure is worthy and enhances it.
