Huge Apple memorabilia collection up for auction on eBay

TUAW reader Kray Mitchell sent along a link to let us know he's posted a whole bunch of his collection of Apple memorabilia from over the years on eBay, and even if you don't have the cash to pick up this stuff at all, it's at least interesting to browse through it. He's got an original Newton MessagePad up there to look at, a box of those Apple playing cards that we've seen before, lots of promo materials like this original iMac poster, and even a ... Service Award for the PowerBook team from 1991? Huh.
If nothing else, it's a pretty interesting walk through some of Apple's history. We can't vouch for the prices on any of these things (the playing cards are already up to $100 and might go even higher), but just getting the chance to see some of this stuff after almost 20 years now is pretty cool.

"Original Newton Messagepad" NOT AT ALL.
He has a crappy broken Newton120, thats like the third version and its in poor condition with sticky tape on it.
This is more like "box of rubbish found at closed down apple dealer" than any "collection"
It's an original Newton120. And the sticky tape is holding the stylus so it doesn't get lost. As per description, what's in the picture is what comes with it. Obviously, there are some interested parties.
Me thinks you're just jealous that you don't have a box of rubbish that so many people are interested in. It's OK though, I don't mind at all :o) Namaste.
Yeah, it may sound like Jealousy, but considering I have every MP up to the 130 including the real original "MessagePad" (later models were not called that) and the eMate, I have no reason to be.
Wanna buy a working Apple Lisa? Got one. Pippin? Got one of those too.
Any version of the original "Macintosh" ? Got them all.
I have no idea why a "box of rubbish from an old Apple shop" is such big news, I got excited when I saw he was selling a "Huge Collection", then very sad when I saw what it actualy was.
"later models were not called that"
Am I missing something?

But back to the box of junk, why on Earth is there a light meter in this collection? As far as I can tell, it's just a regular photographic light meter with a questionable sticker on the box that says "Apple." I can't imagine how this relates to Apple, and even if it does that's a lot like including a generic-brand ethernet cable because it was sold at an Apple store.
Some of this stuff is pretty cool, but a lot of it looks overpriced (I got my 120 for $15, and it still has the "New! 2MB of RAM" sticker and original telescoping stylus) and I've seen much larger and better collections for sale before.
One Man's Junk Is Another Man's Treasure.

Anyone interested? One owner. With Cassette Interface, fully-loaded with RAM, and a spiffy glass-filled-plastic case...
