Steve Jobs Makes TIME’s Top 100
If you are a subscriber to TIME online, then
you can read the full
subscription-only article* about the top 100 most influential people in the world today. Steve Jobs appears in the
list under “Leaders & Revolutionaries” under the subtitle “Perpetual Innovation.” We Apple fans already knew
about his influence. I mean look at the
Google bosses taking $1 salaries, essentially
following a trend that Jobs set two years ago. Congratulations, Steve!
Now, if he’d only use his sweeping influence to pushback against the music industry and strip the iTMS of DRM, so that I could copy the songs I’ve purchased over to my PSP without going through any of the DRM-stripping shenanigans that have become a part of my daily routine.

Not to be too picky, but Steve has gotten a $1 salary since he's been back at Apple (1997) and not just since 2003.
Of course, the $1 is just a "symbolical" salary, he receives enough stock and options to compensate. (Like that Gulfway he got as a gift)

Dudes, just use Bugmenot.com to get around the Time login. Works like a charm.
