EST, the online Apple Store (US) is down. The usual sticky note graphic and "...we'll be back within the
hour" text have replaced the index page. We'll keep you posted.Use Spotlight as a reference tool. Type any word in the Spotlight box and one of the top entries will be a definition. Click on it, and it will bring up the dictionary application to check the word in either the dictionary, thesaurus, Apple database, or Wikipedia.

Hmmm, only the USA down? I'll be very unhappy if this is a new product for only our friends over the pond! The only thing I can hope for (ignoring ther fact it is probably mere maintenance!) would be something propietary for the US market!?
Possibly (dare I say it) an Apple iPhone! Ha Ha
Maybe it's some new iPod socks!

I think that this downtime is for priing changes. Adjusting the prices to suit the new big products yet to be released, e.g; iPod Video, MacBook etc.
That would also make sense why only USA is down, as UK pays alot more anyway :P

I think they were just updating Remote Desktop 3. I have been wrong before though. Now Universal with over 50 new features.
