We're receiving reports that Apple sites around the world have been updated to the new 'metal look' that the US site received last June at the start of WWDC '07. Since I live in the US, I'm less familiar with Apple's international sites. However, TUAW reader Graham points out apple.com/nz/ which sports the new look. I've found that the sites listed in the international popup at the bottom of apple.com have been updated as well.
Anyone out there still on the previous design? Let us know.

Although Apple.com.au has been updated to the new look, the site has not been fully updated to reflect the new products. For instance, although the site has the updated information for iLife '08, iWork '08 and the new iMac, if you goto the "Mac" section of the website and look at the visual browser of products at the top of the screen, the thumbnails picture the older products (whereas the newer products are thumbnailed on the Apple.com site).

Is it just me, or does it seem like some of the latin American and eastern European sites are just a bit more haphazard than would be up to Apple's standards? Almost as if they weren't even published by the same Apple we know. That, or Apple just treats them as second-class citizens.

Eastern Europien Apple websites aren't owned by Apple Inc. They are owned by French company, they are the distributors, so in this area the new design will be change in ages...

The metal bar at the top of the Australian and NZ sites are a noticeably darker shade than the US and most other countries' sites.

Apple Portugal still has yet to be updated. Although I'm starting to get doubtful about Apple Portugal's "officialness". :/
