Glasgow Apple Store opening confirmed

Dam it. I've been to Glasgow just a few days ago, but I didn't know about this. At least I got to visit one in Manchester and the two in London :D

I happened to be passing the Glasgow Apple store this morning and they have now removed the black window coverings, revealing the store insides to the world at large. I took a few snaps and posted them to flickr here :

A colleague at work's girlfriend has picked up a job there, so he's off to the special event on Friday night. Bah.

Christ, I commented on this at ifoAppleStore last week. Ok it has been deleted but who wouldn't trust a Scotsman?

Curses - missed the Naples opening while on holiday in Florida in March and have been waiting for the Glasgow opening ever since - and I'm working this weekend so won't be able to get there either. Major Downer.

I'm going to the one hour event thing on the friday night before it opens with a mate who got a job there (lucky swine), can't wait!

They're not doing the £250 give-away bags like they did in London, though. Drat.
