Just had a quick question. I ordered a MacBook from Apple Online Store yesterday. Wanted to know which version of iLife will be pre-installed. 08 or 09 ?
Thanks.

My MBP that was delivered yesterday had iLife '08. But you can get the '09 discs for $10 for any Mac purchased after 01/06/09.

@JWBrockman: Thanks for the reply.
This is really stupid, when you buy a computer, they are supposed to give the latest software with it !
Its like giving Panther installed and asking for $50 for a Leopard upgrade!!!

iLife 08 is the latest version! 09 isn't even shipping yet, how could it possibly be installed on your Macbook? You're comparing paying $50 to upgrade to an operating system that was released 5 years prior to Leopard to paying $10 to upgrade to software that has yet to be released. Makes no sense...

@Vince: Well, it is available for download as Trial and an upgrade pack is also available for $79. So, why not give the upgraded version?
