Unboxing an Apple employee t-shirt

A little while back we posted about the unboxing of an Apple job offer, and now here's another unboxing having to do with becoming an Apple employee -- Mac Rumors has shots up of an unboxing of one of the t-shirt giftboxes recently given to AppleCare call center staff, and once again, even in something that the public was never really supposed to see, this company shows just how much care and attention they put into their design. From the way the t-shirt's folded, with the stark three word design sitting perfectly centered, to the embossed gift note and company stickers, clearly this is a company that believes presentation is important.

In fact, it almost makes me want to go over to Apple's Jobs site and start looking for myself. Apple, any interest in hiring a witty, sarcastic and cynical blogger? I'll work for peanuts!

I know I should already know this but does anyone know the font that Apple uses for t-shirts (and everything else)?

That's pretty funny that you actively avoided clicking on the link.

uh jpg artifcats and what... You can't believe Apple sends its employees their official work shirt in a nice box once they get to a corporate level tech support job or cares about making them feel welcome?

When you look at the original (http://images.macrumors.com/article/2009/10/22/142910-apple_t_shirt_2.jpg), the artifacts aren't apparent anymore.

Getting into Apple's infinity loop HQ has always been my dream, and I was almost inches away from having my dream come true 2 months back when I interviewed with them, but sadly I messed up on one of the several interviews and got a reject.
But I certainly had one of the best interviewing experience. Everything was fast paced. Usually for most of the companies, after one round of interview you have to wait for almost two weeks before you get any kind of feedback, but at Apple it used to take hardly 1 business day.
I really was pissed at myself for missing the opportunity, let's hope I would see my dream come through some day!!

Yeah, that is nice and all, but Apple considers things like this your yearly bonus if you're an AppleCare rep.

must be nice.. getting a job @ apple is almost as difficult as getting in with the cia, fbi, nsa, mi6, MoD, etc... if you don't meet their physical outward appearance requirements, trendy appearance.. they (apple) don't hire you..

Getting hired by Apple for retail work isn't that exclusionary. I
managed it despite being over 40, balding, a little extra padding
above my waist, and about as "trendy" as U2. I knew my Macs and
Pods, which I'm sure helped, but even that's secondary to what they
really look for, which is attitude and ability to work with people.

Back on topic: They don't give this kind of presentation of shirts
for retail staff. Those shirts come to the store in clear plastic
bags, and when new ones are issued to the whole store, you rummage
through a big box of them to find the bag with your name on it. The
HR packet for new employees was more typically Apple, and each new
hire starts their first day with a friendly welcome by all of the
available staff. But don't expect a shirt in a box.

No one at all is going to comment on how this is a "red shirt"? C'mon.. it's RIFE with Star Trek significance and /no/ one is going to say anything.

::shame:: (;
