Trampoline installers chat with Steve
Today must be 'Brushes with Steve Jobs' day or something. It seems after reading about Wolf almost running down Steve, kc wanted to share his Steve Jobs story. It would seem that Steve bought his daughter a trampoline for her birthday a few years ago and kc was one of the people who installed it.Steve showed the crew were to set up the trampoline, checked in with them a few times, and even did a few test jumps. The story doesn't end there, so check out kc's post for an inside look of Steve's house.

hmm... is $50,000 good for the signed iPod?
(jk... but if i actually had that money readily available... i would pay that much)
The great thing about this incident is that Mr. Jobs was keen to note how they used their ipods and the itunes music store.
This is opposed to the microsoft exec who bragged that he "brainwashed" his kids (his word, not mine) to use a WMA based mp3 player.
As amusing as these stories are, you have to wonder:
People do value their privacy and would I like, say; if the gas man came and fitted a new boiler then went home and stuck on his personal blog about it: Hey I was at that famous guys house today blah blah blah. Whether it be good or bad what they say.
I suppose of course making a complaint against him to his employer would be the answer, they'd probably frown upon employees doing that or asking permission to blog about it?
I think a story bumping into a famous person outside is different to one about being invited to his home to do a job.
These are all pretty light-hearted of course, just looking at it from a different persepective. : )
You mean, today must be "brushes with Steve Jobs from two years ago" day!! HAHA!! Thanks for posting up my fun little story! It was quite a big day for me and it is great to share with all my fellow TUAWers!!
I actually have another "brush with greatness" story about Steve Jobs asking my wife to be his personal assistant, and her turning him down... but I will have to save that story for another day!! :)
Henry--
That was very strange, how we both ended the same comment the same way.

Marek,
It looks like they just ripped off a Wall Street Journal picture of Steve, but I could be wrong.

Marek, I believe it's an illustration. From the look of it, the Wall Street Journal, but I could be wrong.
"Can you sign our iPods?"
^^ Awesome.
How do you get that graphical effect on the SJ picture?

This post is almost 2 years old. So in actuality, this post is the "older" of the two.
